Louise's Story
After 23 years of teaching, I retired in 2007. I spend my time cross country skiing, cycling, reading, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. I share these activities with my husband of 50 years and our two sons and their spouses.
My mountain home in New Hampshire provides numerous hours of relaxation and activity.

l levels of English, I also taught, at various times, creative writing, acting, directing, film studies, speech arts and journalism. I also served as the adviser to the high school student newspaper.
I volunteer at the food pantry of the Huntington Community Food Council and at Planned Parenthood.
I am still close with many Clarke and Hofstra classmates and cherish my fond memories of my high school and college years.
